Credentialing Professional Outcomes

What is Credentialing Professional Outcomes?

Credentialing Professional Outcomes (CPO) is the opportunity to earn a certified credential for professional skills, knowledge and experience acquired in the workplace. It involves collecting a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates you have the required skills and knowledge as a result of work experience and career-relevant learning.

The online process is very much tailored around your career outputs and professional practice, so you decide on the type of evidence you submit – we only require that it align to the specific standards of the credential you have chosen. Once submitted, your portfolio of evidence will be assessed by an academic. If the evidence has met the requirements of the minicourse, you will be awarded a digital badge.

A credential is a digital certification indicating competence in a specific skill area. It promotes ‘learning by doing’, and requires collecting evidence from the workplace to demonstrate what you already know and can do.
